Starstruck

Ever got a feeling of inexplicable adoration for someone ? Someone close to you or someone far away… Someone who actually exists or someone who you made up in your mind… Doesn’t matter ! Even if that someone is not real, that feeling definitely is…

I think I am starstruck,
I know it’s so silly but…
When your single thought turns my heart into a mush,
Then I know I am starstruck.

For the whole world its not a big deal,
But that’s surely not the way I feel…
I wonder sometimes whether this sweet creature,
Is just an illusion or is actually real?

When hearing your voice makes me smile in the gloomy days,
I know in that instant, for me you’re not just a pretty face.
The way I think, the way I talk have changed, it’s true…
I try to be a better person, as my soul has now found a piece of you.

I see you as charming, accepting and kind,
These traits – in my world – are quite hard to find…
You are not perfect and certainly have flaws, if I say otherwise, I lie…
Still I am truly starstruck,
And that’s something I can’t deny!!!
